This plant is commonly referred to as the "Wax Plant" due to the waxy appearance of its leaves and flowers. The leaves of Hoya lacunosa are succulent and glossy, with a deep green color. They are typically small and elliptical in shape, measuring about 2 to 4 inches in length. The leaves often have a slightly concave or "lacunose" appearance, which is where the plant gets its species name.

🌡️Temperature: Maintain warm temperatures between 70°F to 80°F (21°C to 27°C) during the day and slightly cooler temperatures at night. Avoid extreme temperature fluctuations.
💦Humidity: High humidity levels are essential. Aim for humidity levels of 50% or higher. If the environment is dry, consider using a humidity tray or a room humidifier.
🚰 Watering: Bottom water this plant when the top 2" of soil are dry to touch. Use distilled or purified water, as tap water may contain minerals that can harm the plant.
