Philodendron Punctata, commonly known as the Spotted Philodendron or Leopard Philodendron, is a tropical plant renowned for its distinctive foliage. Philodendron Punctata features large, glossy leaves with a heart-shaped or lanceolate shape. The leaves have prominent dark green veins that contrast beautifully with the lighter green leaf surface. What sets this plant apart is its striking pattern of small, white or yellow spots that cover the leaf surface, resembling a leopard's spots. The spots can vary in size and density, adding to the plant's overall allure.

Plant Care:

🔆 Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. A location near a bright window with filtered light is ideal. Artificial grow lights can also be used, just don't keep them too close as they can burn the leaves.
🌡️Temperature: Maintain warm temperatures between 70°F to 80°F (21°C to 27°C) during the day and slightly cooler temperatures at night. Avoid extreme temperature fluctuations.
💦Humidity: High humidity levels are essential for Nepenthes alata. Aim for humidity levels of 50% or higher. If the environment is dry, consider using a humidity tray or a room humidifier.
🚰 Watering: Allow to dry out in between waterings. Water when top 2" of soil are dry to touch.

I had initially bought this plant baby and it, unfortunately, had arrived a little worse for the wear. None of which was truly Plante LaVie’s fault. The initial plant’s box was pretty banged up and living in the hot Mojave desert can be brutal. It was very wilted and sad. (Still trying to help her pull through). When they heard about this they immediately sent out a replacement. This time marking the box as fragile and to handle with care (even though the carriers handling is not the sellers fault). My new plant baby arrived today. And while the box was still a little dented the plant is in a lot better condition as you can see by the last photo. Customer service really was the key here. Making sure I was a happy customer and that the plants they send out are a good representation of what you should expect from them. I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future. Just as soon as I know I can sneak yet another plant in the house without my husbands knowledge. Thank you guys for being wonderful!
