Hoya Kerrii has thick, succulent-like leaves that are heart-shaped, giving it the endearing nickname "Sweetheart Hoya." The leaves are typically solid green, although there is a rare variegated form with white or cream-colored edges. The leaves are fleshy and waxy, adding to their charm. This Hoya species is a vining plant that can climb or trail, depending on its growing conditions and support. It has twining stems that can grow several feet long, making it ideal for hanging baskets or training on trellises. Hoya kerrii can produce clusters of small, star-shaped flowers with a sweet fragrance. The flowers are usually pale pink or white with a contrasting center. The size of the leaves can vary, but they can grow to be around 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 centimeters) in length and width.

🔆 Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. A location near a bright window with filtered light is ideal.
🌡️Temperature: Maintain warm temperatures between 70°F to 80°F (21°C to 27°C) during the day and slightly cooler temperatures at night. Avoid extreme temperature fluctuations.
💦Humidity: High humidity levels are essential. Aim for humidity levels of 50% or higher. If the environment is dry, consider using a humidity tray or a room humidifier.
🚰 Watering: Bottom water this plant when the top 2" of soil are dry to touch. Use distilled or purified water, as tap water may contain minerals that can harm the plant.
