The Lifesaver Cactus, also known as Huernia zebrina or Zebra Plant, is a unique and visually striking succulent native to southern Africa. It belongs to the Asclepiadaceae family and is characterized by its distinctive star-shaped flowers that resemble life preservers or "lifesavers," which give the plant its common name. The stems of the Lifesaver Cactus are fleshy, erect, and covered in distinctive dark-green, raised stripes or markings, resembling a zebra's stripes.

Plant Care:

🔆 Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. A location near a bright window with filtered light is ideal.
🌡️Temperature: Maintain warm temperatures between 70°F to 80°F (21°C to 27°C) during the day and slightly cooler temperatures at night. Avoid extreme temperature fluctuations.
💦Humidity: High humidity levels are essential. Aim for humidity levels of 50% or higher. If the environment is dry, consider using a humidity tray or a room humidifier.
🚰 Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Use distilled or purified water, as tap water may contain minerals that can harm the plant.
