Ctenanthe burle-marxii features elongated leaves with a striking pattern that resembles the bones of a fish, hence its common name "Fishbone Prayer Plant." The leaves are typically dark green with silver-green markings that create a contrasting and eye-catching appearance. The undersides of the leaves are often a deep purple color.
